These terms govern your use of this website. Reading the pages means you accept them. They are deliberately short on legal ornament and specific about what this site is and is not.

1. Accepting these terms

If you do not accept what follows, stop using the site. We may revise these terms, and the date at the top of the page shows when they last changed.

2. This is a guide, not a bookmaker

This site is an independent guide to Waliya Bet Ethiopia, also known as Waliya Sport and Waliya Sports Betting. We are not that company, we are not owned by it, and we do not speak for it. The operator's own site is waliyabet.et. Nothing written here is an official statement by the operator or by any Ethiopian authority.

3. Affiliate disclosure

Some links on this site, including the Log In and Register buttons, are affiliate links. If you follow one and open an account, we may be paid a commission by the operator or an intermediary. You pay nothing extra for using such a link. This disclosure is made in the spirit of the United States Federal Trade Commission's guidance on endorsements, and it applies to every outbound commercial link here, whether or not it is individually labelled. Payment does not buy a favourable write-up: the licence status in section 6 is published exactly because it is accurate, not because it helps conversion.

4. No betting is offered on this site

You cannot place a bet, open an account, deposit, withdraw or claim a promotion here. There is no wallet, no balance and no cashier. Every one of those actions happens on the operator's own platform, under the operator's own terms, and any dispute about a stake, a payout or a bonus is between you and the operator.

5. Adults only

This site is for people aged 18 or over. If you are younger, leave. Nothing here encourages anyone to bet, and the responsible-betting guidance on the home page is part of the content, not decoration.

6. Licence status in Ethiopia — read this before acting

On 15 December 2025 the Ethiopian Lottery Service revoked the licences of all sports betting operators, covering online services and physical betting centres alike. As of September 2026 no operator holds a licence and no reopening date has been announced. That applies to Waliya Bet as it does to every other operator in the market. Treat any page, advertisement or message that claims a current Ethiopian licence as out of date or false, including older material published by brands themselves.

7. Accuracy, and how quickly it ages

Odds, markets, promotions, payment routes, support numbers and legal status change without warning, and a revoked market changes faster than most. We describe what we understood to be true at the date shown, and we make no promise that any detail is still correct when you read it. Verify anything that matters with the operator or the regulator before you rely on it.

8. Not advice

Nothing here is legal, financial, tax or investment advice, and nothing here is a tip or a prediction. Betting loses money for most people who do it. Decisions about whether betting is lawful for you where you live, and whether you can afford it, are yours alone; if you need a view you can rely on, ask a qualified professional in your jurisdiction.

9. Sites we link to

We do not control any third-party site, including the operator's, and we are not responsible for its content, availability, security or terms. A link is not an endorsement of everything behind it.

10. Our content and other people's marks

The text, layout and original graphics on this site belong to its publisher. You may quote a short passage with a visible link back. Copying pages wholesale, or republishing them as your own, is not permitted. Waliya Bet, Waliya Sport, the league names and all other brands and logos mentioned belong to their respective owners and appear here for identification and description only.

11. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to break, overload or probe this site, scrape it with automated tools, bypass its security filtering, or present copies of it as the official brand site. Automated scraping and hostile traffic are blocked, and access may be refused without notice.

12. No warranties

The site is provided as it is and as it happens to be available. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error free, free of harmful code, or fit for any particular purpose of yours, and we disclaim implied warranties to the fullest extent the applicable law allows.

13. Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for betting losses, for lost profit or opportunity, for data loss, or for any indirect or consequential damage arising from use of this site or of any site reached from it. Nothing in these terms removes a liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Changes, severability and contact
